Who is

Reborns of Jess?

I am in my late 20s, a graduate of Oxford University, and now a HR business partner working within the charity sector.

When I’m not working, filming or painting, I’m playing video games, repotting my houseplants, or cuddling with my husband.

How my journey began

I have always loved dolls. As a child, I had a baby Annabelle that I adored, but I was jealous of my friend that had a realistically weighted baby doll.

During COVID, I found myself suddenly alone for 10+ hours a day. My partner (Avery) was at work, and I was working from home. We couldn’t have pets due to being in rented accommodation, and then I discovered reborn dolls online. I thought the obvious solution to my loneliness, was a doll! (It made sense at the time, okay?)

I bought my first baby (Rebecca by Reva Schick) in May 2020, and I was hooked. To date, I’ve had over 20 dolls in my collection.

In 2021, I posted my first TikTok, a simple video of Sam in a bassinet. Within two months I had my first viral video (27 million views) and had grown to 100,000 followers. I love sharing my hobby with the world, and have continued to create content and grow my collection. I now have a YouTube, Instagram and Facebook page dedicated to my dolls, and my aim with this website is to provide free resources to people in the reborn community (or who want to join us!).
