Frequently Asked Questions

Please read my FAQs before contacting me!

Feel free to send me a message if your question has not been answered here.

  • Unfortunately, I don’t take custom orders. Please have a look at my page ‘buy reborns’ to find recommendations for artists and places to buy legitimate reborns.

I sell all my dolls through reborns.com/rebornsofjess

  • Yes, this is called a portrait baby!

I don’t take custom orders, but plenty of artists do. I’d suggest joining some Reborn Facebook groups and researching to find an artist who’s artwork you like, then reaching out to them.

Please note, this does NOT include sculpting a baby for you. You will need to find a sculpt that resembles your baby (it can be helpful to ask in Facebook groups for sculpt recommendations based on photos).

  • I sell all my dolls through reborns.com/rebornsofjess

If you create an account on the site, you’ll be able to ‘follow’ my nursery, which means you’ll be notified by email as soon as I post a doll for sale.

I am not able to reserve dolls, as I do not price them until they are completed. At this time I am not taking payment plans, but you can use Paypal’s built in payment plan feature.

  • I would love to respond to every person that reaches out to me, but unfortunately I receive hundreds of messages a day through many platforms, and it is not possible for me to get to everyone. My website has so much information on, and will usually be able to answer all of your questions.

  • No.

  • No.

I recommend some low cost websites such as Paradise Galleries or Ashton Drake. Alternatively, there are reborns to suit most budgets on reborns.com.

  • Still no.

These dolls take me many hours to create, in my limited spare time, plus each doll costs me around £150-200 in materials alone.

I occasionally do giveaways when I hit milestones, but please do not beg for a doll. I have my own struggles and being inundated with very emotional stories is incredibly hard. Please don’t trauma dump on me.

  • If you have bought from a non-legitimate website or been taken advantage of by someone online, you can try speaking to your bank to get the charge cancelled. If you have paid via Paypal, you can contact them for a refund. Make sure to do your research before buying a reborn doll. On my page ‘buying reborns’ I have lots of advice for where to buy legitimate reborns, and how to avoid scams.
