Where to buy Reborn clothes

Most reborns fit into regular baby clothes, and so you can shop anywhere that sells baby clothes, which is brilliant! My favourite place to get ‘normal’ baby clothes is Vinted, which is cheaper as items are second hand, and also better for the environment.

However, there are plenty of mini reborns that don’t fit into ‘normal’ sizing, and many of us find that regular baby clothes are rather uninspiring. They’re usually designed to be practical rather than pretty, but for those of us that love displaying our dolls, we want the clothes to be just as beautiful as the babies wearing them.

Here are my top recommendations for gorgeous handmade clothes:

Gypsie is famous within the community for her beautiful, handmade outfits, usually including her signature collar.

These intricate outfits would not be safe for real babies, but are perfect for displaying our reborns! I have many outfits by Gypsie, including the one modelled by my Manuela, that you can see here. This is one of Gypsie’s one of a kind (OOAK) outfits, these are expensive but Gypsie will never repeat an OOAK outfit, and many hours of hard work has gone into creating every one. Gypsie makes outfits for every size reborn.

Gypsie also sells rompers and other outfits that are not OOAK. She mostly sells online through her Facebook Group, Gypsie’s Baby Boutique.

Sharon, the artist behind Roxy & Roo, creates handmade outfits for real babies and reborns. She accommodates all sizes of reborn, even tiny 10 inch babies!

I have bought several Roxy & Roo outfits, including the lovely one modelled by Sam - I even have a matching one that fits Charlie!

She sells through her Facebook page and her website.

It can be really hard to find clothes that fit reborns smaller than 16 inches (preemie size).

On the left you’ll see my 13 inch Annaliese, in an adorable handmade outfit by Gemma, who runs Micro Preemie Dolls Clothing Boutique.

Gemma makes clothes to fit babies as small as 5 inches.

Her prices are reasonable, with this set costing me £18+post.

You can buy Gemma’s outfits through her Facebook page.
